  This place is incredible, I would give it ten stars if I could. The building and grounds are beautiful and the room is just as beautiful with an amazing view. When we arrived we had the fire on for us. The location is great a few minutes drive to Salamanca place. A tasty breakfast was cooked for us every morning with a fresh coffee. The service was five star, thanks Jess for your kindness and helpfulness. Don’t want to check out.

  Stayed here and the views were beautiful. The room was so modern and luxurious. There was stairs to a reading room with a view. Windows would open up onto a little balcony. Lovely smart TV and spacious rooms. Only thing is, this place could do with an elevator. The stairs can be exhausting and it wouldn't be good if you have an injury.

  My wife and I enjoyed a short stay at Maylands Lodge. The host upon arrival was very welcoming and showed us to our room. The breakfast the following morning was outstanding, and the dining room itself was sublime. Only minor critique I have is the rooms themselves are a bit dated in design and could have a more modern touch. Some faulty aspects such as broken bins and “aged/stained” toilet seats could be fixed easily. But otherwise we had a good stay and would visit again next time we’re in Hobart.

  This place is one of the best hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in! The historical building has been renovated to an immaculate standard. We stayed in the Hunter suite and found it to be extremely spacious and clean, with a lovely comfortable bed, private balcony/terrace and incredible bathroom with a walk in shower, huge tub and underfloor heating. The building has so much charm with little hidden gems to be discovered, like the reading nook and a look out with amazing views of the city. The manager, Jake, was so lovely and accommodating. We extended our stay by an extra night because we didn't want to leave! We will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and family travelling to Hobart, and hope to visit again.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maylands Lodge. It is very charming and we loved every aspect. The staff were very friendly and our room was clean. Thanks for making our stay in Hobart very comfortable!
