- Joel Van Sanden Added February 04, 2022★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆My landscaper organised a plumber from this business to fix a pressure leak in a 90 degree PVC bend. The plumber attended site in the morning to check the job for parts. The landscaper had dug out the leak and left the pipe exposed. The plumber left, attended in the afternoon, was on the phone, left site, came back some hours later, was on the phone, did some work, left, came back the next day, was on the phone. I went out to see what was taking so long, the bend had been replaced but so had a metal valve that was not part of the job. The original metal valve as picutred had been replaced with a plastic one. I enquired as to the reason for the valve replacement, he said that it broke when he put his multi grips on it. I stated that the valve was on the outbound side of the leak and was working fine. The plumber said that these things happen and it broke. The metal vale was no where to be seen. I recieved an account for $686.40. I called Matthew Shepperd and explained that the replacement of the metal valve with a plastic one was not part of the job, it was on the outbound side of the leak and the valve as confirmed by the landscaper also, was working fine. Matthew stated that the valve was obviously faulty so the plumber did me a favour by replacing it.
